Yes, a student can apply for transfer if his certificates and academic level meet the university requirements in Egypt. The student will need to submit documents showing his previous courses and grades.

The student needs to provide a valid passport, a high school certificate or its equivalent, a bachelor’s degree if applying for a master’s degree, or a master’s certificate if applying for a doctorate, and personal photos with a white background, along with other documents that depend on the study program such as the language certificate (if available).

It depends on the specialization required. A language certificate is often not required for study programs taught in Arabic. However, for programs taught in English, the student may be required to have a language proficiency certificate or pass a university-approved language test.

Some public and private universities provide on-campus housing for incoming students, but it may be limited. Students can also search for external accommodation in areas close to the university.

The cost varies according to the university and specialty. In general, tuition fees at public universities range from $4,000 to $7,000 annually for theoretical majors and may reach $10,000 for medical and engineering majors. Private universities are more expensive.

International students can apply through us, the Arab Center for Educational Consultation, via the official “Study in Egypt” platform provided by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education. After registering and uploading the required documents, a specialized team will review the application and issue an initial acceptance, then the student will undergo tests (if any) after which final acceptance will be made.

The duration varies depending on the university, but in general, it may take 2 to 4 weeks to obtain initial admission, then more time for the final admission and visa procedures.

Working while studying is restricted for international students; Egyptian law does not grant work permits to foreign students except in special cases. The student must ensure this when submitting his residency application in Egypt

Yes, students can apply to more than one university, but when they are accepted into one university they must inform the other universities and complete the procedures at the chosen university only.

Universities provide health units for students, but it is recommended that students obtain comprehensive health insurance that covers treatment in private or government hospitals to avoid any health emergencies.
